About Me
Hello!
I’m Anthony Sleiman, a photographer and visual storyteller based in Miami, specializing in nightscapes, landscapes, and adventure photography. For the past six years, I’ve been documenting the Everglades at night, capturing the beauty of Florida’s wild places and the stories they hold.
My work is more than just photography—it’s about connection. Whether it’s the quiet solitude of the Everglades under a starry sky or the thrill of exploring remote landscapes, I strive to create images that inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world. I’ve partnered with organizations such as Everglades National Park, the Everglades Foundation, Polarpro, Tamron, Fujifilm, OM System and others to highlight the importance of conservation through visual storytelling.
I also document research for science communication, working with institutions to visually translate complex environmental studies into compelling imagery that engages and informs.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me deep in the Everglades, sitting under the night sky, enjoying the silence.
Let’s connect. Whether you’re looking for a photographer, a partner, or just someone to talk about the wonders of the night, I’d love to hear from you.

Everglades Stories
I was featured in Stories from Across the Watershed, an Emmy Award-winning multimedia project created by The Everglades Foundation. This powerful series brings together voices from across Florida who share a deep, personal connection to the Everglades and are working to protect its future.
My story focuses on the Everglades at night—a place where I’ve found clarity, peace, and purpose. Through my photography and workshops, I guide others into the darkness to discover the beauty of the night sky, far from city lights. It’s more than photography—it’s about reconnecting with nature, slowing down, and feeling the impact of wild places that still exist.
Being part of this project is an honor. It’s a celebration of the Everglades and a reminder of what’s at stake.
A Million-Year Journey: Discover Big Cypress's Dark Sky
I was featured in the Dark Skies campaign by Paradise Coast, which highlights Big Cypress National Preserve as one of the darkest places east of the Mississippi. As an International Dark Sky Park, it offers rare, light-pollution-free views of the night sky. Through this campaign, I shared my experience photographing and teaching under these skies, contributing to the growing movement for dark sky conservation in Florida. Big Cypress never fails to inspire, and I hope to encourage others to appreciate and protect our night skies.
